Contemple

A themed vertical design studio addressed the act of reading, literature and their relationship to architecture to explore new design approaches to a site, program and building. The studio started with choosing of a book that as a guiding tool. Inspired by that book, a reading station was built 1:1 followed by a design research book and finally a project and program derived from that research. This studio deals with how architecture relates to the urban scale and how issues such as religion and social relationships manifest in an urban landscape.
